You've made it this far, so thank you. Here's a bit more detail about my experience and creative approach to copywriting.

From Goldsmith's to study English literature, to penning articles about sub culture in riskily-titled magazines such as Sleazenation and Jockeyslut, to special projects for contract publishers and contributions to Channel 4, to authoring books, to making documentaries, to writing a ton of copy, I've never stopped being beguiled by the power of words.

They are the lifeblood of expression and when handled correctly, the currency of persuasion. Which is why - you've guessed it - I'm a copywriter who loves his craft and finding the kernel of truth in every brand story that needs to be told.

Strategy, insights, a tidy brief and a cup of coffee - all grist to the mill in honing messaging, riding and evolving the TOV, and interrogating the 'what', 'why' and 'how' to get the most effective, attention-winning content no matter the medium.

Where effective copywriting happens
